Less is more (or at least, lower is better)

After my clear angiogram, the cardiologist put me on a statin, to help it to stay that way. I’ve now had the three-month followup to check whether the dose is suitable, and I was pleased to find that my total cholesterol level is down to 4.0 (it had crept up to 6.0 by the time I had the angiogram; 5.0 is the recommended limit). And my HDL is up too, which is also good.

Glad to hear things in the health department are progressing well!

Thanks! I celebrated with a meal of fish and chips, on the reckoning that I could get away with it… and found it quite uncomfortable to eat, as it’s a long time since I’ve eaten anything so oily!
